Crosslinx Monthly Reports

Crosslinx Transit Solutions (CTS) is a design and construction consortium building the Eglinton Crosstown LRT in Toronto, Canada. Every month CTS Management Team writes a progress report and sends it to their clients - Metrolinx, the project owner, and Infrastructure Ontario, the quality control services provider.

What design aimed to do is show that, apart form being a legal necessity, monthly reports are a great way to build a strong corporate identity by involving design creativity. The absence of any brand guidelines made the design process more challenging which required using elements of the CTS logo and corporate colours to develop a new visual identity.

Before, annual reports were just a collection of various bits of information coming from different departments within CTS and having nothing in common visually. Marrying them involved unifying headers, footers, colours and creating new design for cover and dividers. The new cover builds a powerful visual identity and can be easily transformed on a monthly basis to mark significant milestones along the Eglinton LRT Project timeline.
